Aaron Sorkin (born June 9, 1961) is an Academy and Emmy award winning American screenwriter, producer, and playwright. Sorkin is the creator, head writer, and executive producer of Sports Night. His other works include the series The West Wing, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and The Newsroom. He wrote the feature films A Few Good Men, The American President, Charlie Wilson's War, The Social Network, and Moneyball.
